To avoid clouds and get the best view, it’s best to tackle Ben Nevis during the summer months. As you reach the summit, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of rolling mountainscape, winding lochs and the local town of Fort William.
Hermaness Hill, Shetland Islands
Hidden away at the northernmost point of the Shetland Islands, the Hermaness National Nature Reserve is an untouched paradise, offering spectacular views straight out of a David Attenborough documentary. Home to thousands of migrating birds and other local wildlife, there is so much to take in.
Head to the top of the hill and look out over the ocean as clouds roll over the green landscape and waves crash against the cliff edge- a view you won’t soon forget.
