Our Urban Outdoor range is expanding this season, with a new series of shoes – all designed with sustainability at their core. Introducing Mojito Planet.
There are 3 new models; Mojito Planet Suede, Fabric and Denim.
Mojito Planet Suede
The Mojito Planet Suede evolves the iconic features of Mojito in a sustainable way. The upper is composed of a regenerated suede resulting from an innovative production process that recycles manufacturing waste without any loss of quality. This process results in a significant reduction in water waste, less use of chemicals and lower CO2 emissions
Mojito Planet Fabric
Breathable and lightweight footwear for free time, travel and everyday wear. The upper fabric is obtained through a process of mechanical recycling of production waste of polyamide fibre, which maintains the performance and properties of the original yarn. This virtuous process generates less waste, reducing C02 emissions and oil consumption.
This is the SCARPA approach: an R&D department to study, analyse and develop the very best soles. Here we create unique products with great performance, destined to face a multitude of challenges, from daily use in urban environments to the complexities of unexplored peaks.
The PRESA® URB-03 sole on the Mojito Planet series is made from 30% recycled materials.
Mojito Planet Denim
Denim, the beloved fabric of all generations meets the environmental consciousness of the youngest. The cotton yarn used on the upper comes from production waste, regenerated and transformed into a new yarn. The manufacturing and finishing processes allows saving more than 65% of water compared to the standard process.
