We are excited to share with you our newest running shoe - the Golden Gate 2 ATR - designed to take you from your door to the trails.
The new and improved Golden Gate ATR 2 is designed to tackle every terrain, from paths and tarmac to trails and tracks .
This all terrain shoe is perfect for running from your door to the trail on your daily runs or for runs where you will encounter a variety of terrain.
The Golden Gate 2 ATR builds on the popular Golden Gate ATR model adding upgrades and improvements.
Compared to the previous version, the mesh is more resistant and breathable, the Bounce Foam midsole provides a more elastic response. The geometry of the I-Respond outsole allows a smoother and more efficient stride.

Cushioning and Response
The midsole is split into two parts: an EVA midsole with medium density foam for support and thrust response and a Bounce Foam midsole with low density foam for shock absorption and rebound.
This combination provides a good balance between cushioning and responsiveness making it great for all terrains.
Traction on varied terrain
The sole has been researched and developed by SCARPA’s in house R&D team to provide a single sole which can run easily on road routes, without renouncing reliability and safety even on rough terrain.
The SUPERGUM Compound and 4mm treads help inspire confidence when the terrain gets tougher.
Breathable and Durable
The upper is durable and resistant whilst still being breathable for long runs on hot days.
Made with 3D printed reinforcement (bio based origin) the mesh and microfiber upper is strong and comfortable.
