SCARPA athlete Jasmin Taylor has just had one of the best seasons of her Telemark Skiing Career.
Finishing the season as overall champion with 6 wins and twelve podiums in an amazing winter.
We caught up with Jaz at the end of the season - to find out how this amazing winter unfolded!
Congratulations on an amazing season. What have been your highlights?
The World Cup Finals were very stressful but amazing, the points were so close in the individual disciplines and I am so pleased to have won 2 out of the 3, and the Overall World Cup Champion title.
You’ve been defending the World Cup title which you won last year – has that given you some extra drive to win this season?
I think I held my nerve better this year, it is intense so just the experience of last year helped me manage the pressure this year.
You’ve got an impressive trophy haul from this season – what are you going to do with them all?
Well actually my mum has her name on three globes and my coach on another, so that only leaves me with one from this year... all fair enough in my eyes, I couldn't have done it without them.
You’ve earned some rest after an amazing season – what are your plans for the summer?
Before I head home for the summer I need to complete a snowboarding exam for my French ski instructor badge. Once I am home I am looking forward to a bit of rest and maybe a trip to Ireland, I have always wanted to go!
Having won so much in the last few years, what are your aims for next winter? I really don't know yet.

With Telemark not getting the attention or funding of other winter sports, what are the challenges to compete at the highest level?
It is an ongoing challenge to secure funding, but I have been very lucky with support of sponsors and clubs/organisations such as; Kandahar Ski Club, Ladies Ski Club, The Skiers Trust of Great Britain and more!
What do you love about Telemark?
I love the freedom of movement and the varied training, how there are so many aspects to master and there is always something to improve on.
